Good, prevention of fenceline contact reduces the risk of bringing additional BVD into your herd.  It will also limit the exposure of other cattle to the virus that is already in your herd.  You are missing out on an opprotunity to nearly eliminate your herds' potential exposure to BVD by not quarantining and testing newly purchased cattle.
